Autumnal Update
Since my last post, the work load has been extremely busy. All the school carpets have been cleaned and my focus has been shifted back to cleaning domestic carpets and upholstery.
In the last couple of weeks I’ve had to dry clean a carpet due its construction and condition, the customer was extremely happy with the results. The dry cleaning procedure requires the application of a solvent crumb which is brushed into the carpet using a rotary machine and a pile brush. The vacuuming of the carpet takes quite a while to remove all the crumb, several vacuum bags later and the job was completed. The furniture could placed back on the carpet immediately which suited the customer.
I have recently invested in a Powerbrush which is a great addition to the restore & more arsenal. The Powerbrush agitates the carpet while it is being cleaned while using the hot water extraction method. The brush spins at high speed which increases the soil uplift but another benefit is that the tool can be used for commercial carpets. The Powerbrush eases user fatigue and will clean a far larger area in a quicker time due to the size of the wand head being bigger than the traditional carpet cleaning wand. If you are interested in a commercial carpet clean, then please give me a call or drop me an email.
